i am Egyptian and i live there i wanted to buy iphone but it sold here doubled price so, i want to ask if i buy it from at&t at the USA , and i have some quistion , 1- is the at&t iphone works with sim cards like we have here? 2- can i unlook it to work here in egypt? networks here are vodafone, mobinil and etisalat

yes it does so you need to buy an unlocked iphone or do it yourself. the speed of the phone wont compare to here in america or the uk. Unless you have the correct frequencies for 3g edge will probably work but not sure either. I would need to know what you companies network runs in then i could give you a better answer.
