I think its a cheese sauce or could be a dipping sauce. The color is light green and its thick. Does anyone know the name of this cheese/dipping sauce?? Thank you!

The picture in the link above definitely isn't guacamole, it looks more like a spinach cheese dip. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: I'm half latina and I know what guacomole looks like & tastes like. It's just mushed avocado. Even if you add peppers and onions, it doesn't look that the dip that is in the link. Also, the asker said that he/she thinks it's a cheese sauce. Guacamole doesn't have any cheesy taste to it and it's not that light-colored. IF they used avocado, it's just an "avocado sauce" that they blended with other stuff (including cheese) to give it that texture and color. Hi Gwendolyn, I'm from Mexico and I can recognize Warrior Angel's pic as guacamole. The bowl in which it is served is a typical piece of Mexican pottery, named "barro", and the name of the file as we can read in the explorer search bar is "avosauce.jpg", which is an abbreviation of "avocado sauce". It looks like it has been very blended, though... more like a sauce indeed. Guacamole is usually more common to be prepared leaving big chunks of the avocado along with little pieces of other ingredients as tomato, onion and chili peppers. Anyway, the idea of spinach cheese dip sounds yummi :) You can ask about it to some employee at Pizza Hut. It's not like you want them to reveal the secret recipe to steal their success but they can mention the main ingredients because you have the right to know what are you eating. If they say it's avocado, spinach, pesto, chimichurri or whatever, you could then look in the Internet for ideas on how to make your own dip using such ingredients. Enjoy! Edit: Hello Fraspa, sorry if I bothered you. I'm 100% Mexican and, uuuhm... that's why I mentioned that the first image's guacamole was "very blended" and "more like a sauce indeed". I also said that "guacamole is usually more common to be prepared..." just like the Google images you linked. LOL, I was thinking of using one of those same images in my previous answer but I thought the link was too long. You can see some pics of a very light colored dip being equally referred as "guacamole" some pages further in the link you shared. Sorry, in Mexico we equally name it "guacamole" if it's just "mushed" or very blended like the dip in the first answer's link. By the way, the light color of that dip could be because of milk or cream added to it. http://images.google.com.mx/images?hl=es&q=avocado+sauce&btnG=Buscar+im%C3%A1genes&gbv=2 For what it's worth, I didn't thought that the Pizza Hut's sauce could be guacamole, precisely because of the cheesy flavor Gwendolyn described. I just talked about it because of what Warrior Angel mentioned, before acknowledging it could be anything else OTHER than avocado, like the spinach Warpedhy said. http://images.google.com.mx/images?hl=es&q=Spinach+artichoke&btnG=Buscar+im%C3%A1genes&gbv=2 Edit: Gracias a ti, Warrior. :)

Spinach artichoke dip is the name u r looking for. couldn't find a free recipe for it online, but I found a spinach artichoke dip from another chain restaraunt, red robin, here http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/recipedetail.asp?sessionid=&login=yes&id=570&page= never tried this recipe myself, but if u feel like trying to make Pizza Hut's Original Pan Pizza this is a free recipe to it: http://freerecipes.8m.com/Copycats/Pizza_Hut_Breadstick_Seasoning.html randomly found this worth a mention, i usually use http://www.topsecretrecipes.com and make my own starbucks frozen caramel frappucino, mcdonald's fries and subway sauces from this site. some recipes are free and others cost $0.79/recipe.

I Agree with warpedhybrid,it's spinach artichoke dip. guacamole with pizza,no way. guacamole is mexican dipping sauce,it comes with taco, burrito, grilled chicken. (El Pollo Loco) I never seen guacamole comes with pizza.those are two different cuisines. Mexican like it so much, and they eat it with every thing, but not with pizza.
