Please only answer if you actually have lived in Egypt or Africa. I was on vacation recently and my daughter met a family from Egypt - the one lady got into the public swimming pool wearing her head covering and fully clothed! It really sparked my interest about Egypt and I have always wanted to know how people live in Africa in contrast to the US.

wel, live in Egypt can be as the live in America some how in the big cities as Cairo and Alexandria, but it is more simple in the other cities, much more simple in the south what i want to say that Egypt is in the middle of the way between Africa and US about what that woman your daughter saw, she is a muslim woman, Islam order the women not to show their bodies (except face and hands) to anyone besides her husband, father, mother, children or other women. this is good thing in fact, at least her husband has something special
