well ,ok that is it,, I will really explain to you you can not even get married with this amount if you do not have an apartment and if you want to live (even below the average) if you put 200000 in a bank in egypt ,(you can not touch them for years) you will be getting 200000)9.5/100/12=1583 pounds that is less than a salary of a good secretary in a medium office ,, you can eat of course but what: Assuming that one kg of meat is 70,,, and you need 1/3 of beef/chicken /fish that means you need 25+15 (for bread and others so it is like 40....that is 1200 /month I did not calculate any other expenses Now,, to do a project in Egypt,,, as I answered before (taxi idea) of course you can have small rented shop and fill it with different products (you buy them credit paying on time term) you will eat. live Now for your q,,, who said that most of the Egyptians are living ??? and then people say we should fight funny.... Egypt is not an Oasis in the world,, Egypt produces 1/2 the food it needs... and almost nothing else.(that fanous Ramadan/sokar el banat ..etc are imported from china!!).. so the prices are not cheap as you think,,, actually the USA prices in food /other products are cheaper than Egypt,,,and The Egyptians do not produce in general..and if they work they do a lousy job,,, those are facts believe it or not , it is up to you , Why do you think a lot jump on rafts paying # half the money you have#, knowing the possibility of death is high , or being caught to escape to Europe? Why do you think most of the answerers here are abroad or dreaming to leave ? The funny thing ,most have lots of (similar to nazi thoughts /radical ),,they do not know, that it is not fair to treat people that way,and expect to be treated differently from the same people they keep (attacking) wala homa falotah??? I left some clothes in the states [i live in Egypt] and i want them. what do i do

I left some clothes in the states [i live in Egypt] and i want them. what do i do?
I dont want to pay import tariffs because they're not new! so how can i get them back without paying the tariffs? Egypt is like all Muslim countries there are good Muslims and there are bad ones some times you only see the bad but go to the mosques and you will find the good

First it seemed you are asking about living in Egypt in general then you involved religion in your question, anyway I'll consider it a question about living in Egypt as you classified it under "Egypt" section. it's like in any other country...............but sadly, the dominant or actually what appears is to be by name :-( but still like any other country where corruption is everywhere starting from the president and his government.

well..we can say that but not all Muslims.....the Egyptian youth have been witnessing a rise in the Islamic awareness....more and more guys and girls are stepping closer to Allah and the masjids are beginning to be filed with men..... what i like about Islam in Egypt is that it's the symbol of moderation which in my opinion is the base of Islam...moderation without being too strict or too loose...specially compared to other muslim countries..... egypt being mentioned in the qur'an more than mekka itself is not out of vain.....Allah knows that the islam will be at ease in egypt....
