Any Egyptians from outside of Egypt that live there

Any Egyptians from outside of Egypt that live there?
That may sound confusing haha, but I mean are there any Egyptians that live in Egypt that used to live outside of it? If so, whyd you come back to egypt? Was it hard adjusting? I want to go back, but I've lived in the US all my life so im a little worried about the culture shock. I visit egypt often but never actually.. lived there haha so i want other peopels opinions

this question just made me think about these guys in egypt who threw an innocent dog off of a roof and laughed as it cried @Radwan anyone could tell that dog was not vicious or anything, it was a soft dog that should of ate them up alive, so stop defending them because you sounding real stupid right now.

First I lived in Egypt then I went out then I came back then now I am out again etc..

This is a wild dog that went up to their roof. How else could they have gotten rid of it? Note: I am not at all saying what they did is right..

@diamond: i agree with you @radwan dont even for a second think that guy can be defended for, what he done is completely atrociously disgusting it actually made me cry. how can evil be so embedded within peoples hearts my gosh ''how else could they have got rid of it'' ??? through the stairs not like he got up there any other

Depends on the place you will be living in .. But anyway there will be a HUGE cultural shock !

My dad is egyptian, but I was born here, and this is all I know. We have many egyptian friends some of whom have moved back to Egypt. Right now they wish they had not moved back. When I asked them why they moved back to Egypt they said that is was really hard to find work here, they didn't have the necessary papers to work and therefore any job that they were able to find paid half of what someone with working papers would have made. They said they were struggling here just to have basic things, but upon moving back to Egypt (he has been back for 2 years now) he is still unable to find a job, the unemployment is very high and the price of some things has gotten very expensive. Now he wishes that he did not return, but because he broke his original visa he cannot get another one to return to the states. His English is perfect so is his arabic, but still he can't find a job. Look into this more before you make the jump to moving there. Don't forget the exchange rate either. It takes a lot more egyptian money for a flight back than it does american money.

is it possible for a american women to live in Egypt independently

is it possible for a american women to live in Egypt independently?
well the reason why i ask this is because i would like to work and stay in Egypt for at least a year to study arabic ,and my question is it possible for a foreigner to work and study in Egypt,and if so where would a foreigner most-likely work thanks for all the help:)

well i recommend that at first u stay with someone untill u get used 2 it there then u can live independantly...unless ur willing 2 take on the hardships...this doesnt only apply 2 going 2 egypt though its 4 going anywhere independantly...egypt is a great country and ull love it there...its just that like any other country ull def. have a hard time at first.

the answer is yes .. you can stay and live in Egypt independently if u r mature enough so it depends on you .. but in general why not?!! "where would a foreigner most-likely work" !!!! it depends on your field,grade and efficiency.

yes their is alot of foreigners in egypt from everywhere work and study in egypt u can find this people most in sharm elsheik and hurgada its egyptian cities if u dont know and in cairo their is adistrict called maadi their is american school and alot of american people live and work in egypt ireally dont know about is it easy to find ajob but u can find ajob as animation in hotel or english teacher in private schools or american school good luck and c u next time speak arabic welcome to egypt

yes it is possible. Foreigners usually stick either to their field , or teach in foreign schools. altho i dont recommend you to live and stay alone in Egypt , it is possible . It is quite safe , but not 100% safe . and better be safe than sorry. try to have someone (talking male) living with you here in Egypt. Good luck. John

The best thing you can do is to contact the American embassy in Cairo. A large number of Americans including marines work and live in Egypt.

Yes it is absolutely possible for an American woman to live and work in Egypt. You should do a lot of research on the school you'll be attending, learn about their customs and traditions. Don't go to places you are not familiar with. As with any foreign country, there is always danger. Egypt is a Muslim country. Be prepared to dress like the women there out of respect for them. If you are going to be with other American women then things should be okay. Just remember, when you dress do not dress like college girls in the US. They are very strict when it comes to a woman "showing" her body. Contact the American Embassy for more information. Good luck, have fun and above all see the sites! Egypt is a country full of history. Also, it gets quite hot and humid there. It can be 115 degrees F in the shade during the summer months (remember about how you dress with regards to the temperature). As far as employment, it depends what you are studying. The school or even the embassy could direct you. Many Americans work in Egypt for US countries and have no problems. Hope this helps. Good luck and have fun. What an experience you are going to have. it is possible for you to live in Egypt independently . Egypt is perfectly safe for you . try to find good accommodation close to the school you would study . this would save time and money . Heliopolis or Maadi where many foreigners live . try to mix , go out to famous places , see and enjoy the sites .

I live in Egypt and have a relative who lives in Italy. 8 years ago I never heard from here again. Help?
I need to know who to contact. Italian sites are in Italian, I only know Arabic and English. The lady is Tunisian with the Italian Nationality.

Is Egypt a good country to live in?
What is everyday life like for an ordinary person living in Egypt? And is Egypt a democracy? I am from the United States btw.

I will give you a tip of advice, if you think Egypt is like america, well no it is not but you can live here as free as you want but as long as you don't do stuff that are against the law (which may contradict the values of the West, like for instance drinking in the street or making out and stuff like that publicly then you are going to get arrested) Otherwise living normally here is good.

Most of the Egyptians dream about living out of Egypt. Yes it is democratic on papers only, the reality is " corrupt dictatorship government. marshal law was implemented 30 years ago and still in effect. However, it is great place to visit with a group. many sight seeing. Most of the Egyptians are nice people but again it depends on their level of education and culture. For most Egyptians every day life is a big struggle. where you from anyway?

as for me EGYPT is the best place on earth ,it is the only place where i can live in in peace and security because it is my country ,it is my birthplace,it is the place of kind and friendly people .the man who says anything beyond this is a liar and don't deserve to be Egyptian.please my clan and please all people around the world (it is okay to criticize our government but we don't have to criticize our countries because we are the only disaster of our countries and we deserve to be criticized .) blame yourself first before blaming your country,ask yourself what did u do for your people and for your country .
