Being exposed to profanity on TV.

Eeeeeeeeeeek everything!!! hehe Ummmm I think the hardest would be how hard it is to practice your religon/culture among people like you without being regarded as "wierd". For example, I wear the Hijab I go out in the street and all of a sudden I feel a billion different faces staring at me! If i'm in Egypt i'm just another regular person. I just don't like how i'm not with people i'm like, Egyptians and Muslims. Its so hard to not be influenced by this culture!! But l7l, i'm still livin against all odds hehe. P.S The real hardest is being away from your family and friends, but you said I can't say that haha P.P.S Dallllllllllll idk if i'm going to Egypt!!!!!! eh2 eh2 :'( ......its getting late and my dad isn't mentioning anything no matter how much we beg =(.....can I come in your suitcase????
3 :
Probably the urge to wanna go wild haha jkk but seriuosly, the west is anti-islam and anti-arab culture...sooo yeahhh....a lot is hard to be honest i cant just pick
4 :
The people! They always use bad language, talk to another who they had sex with who, I just can't stand their way of living!!
5 :
Tbh it's just my family. I love the US a lot, I love the people, I love my house, I love everything here. But I guess the 2nd hardest thing would be the food haha, or the fact that in the US some people aren't aware of a lot of things (ignorant). That's annoying. Also, the propaganda (but what country doesnt have a lot of propaganda).
6 :
well i didnt live there that long, only 6 months in new york, but then they refused to renew my visa because i got in some trouble, so had to come back, but annoying thing was being robbed by some black guys, i would have beaten them up but they had some knives :/

I have always lived in France. I didn't came back to my country since 10 years (for private reasons). So, i dont' know. @add : Mmm maybe like @Passion : people always talk about sex that's true. And of course always nude scene on tv. They also don't ask why we don't drink alcool, but when you are the only one who drink coca cola or juice , you feel strange ... :)

The real test to be a Muslim is to face all test :) anyone who can be a good muslim and lives in a place where there so many "disturbance" and still believes in God and be a Mukmin, Mukmin not Muslim, are better than anyone who lives in Medina. Allah SWT is the most forgiving but also the most smartest and the best judge and tester. I lived in Manhattan NY and born and raised in another 1 st world but spend alot if time in mid east My family are loving people but I dont miss anyone my niece Najwa maybe lol, too old for missing :p
9 :
Don't automatically assume that all Egyptians who don't live in Egypt live in a Western country. I don't live in Egypt, but I live in another Muslim and Arabic country.
10 :
I have to say I miss my family and friends the most, and going out everyday after working winding down after a hard day. However, Egypt has changed signifcantly since I left, its become unrecognisable. Its sad really... Novocaine is right living here is a true test to one's faith....but Alhamdolelah 3ala ne3mat al Islam.
11 :
I don't have a villa in NY. It's in Egypt =P Also I miss using the Arabic language in the streets, and that is besides that in a western country you will see very bad things-half naked women, tight clothed women, disgusting stuff at school, gays and lesbians. Even though I heard these days that it's the same in Egypt...I hope I'm wrong!
12 :
the hardest thing ever you may gonna suffer from is when u get married and beget children, and try to raise your children on a islam and arabic traditions, the thing that do not exist in western world
13 :
actually theres nothing really hard over here

You might be a lot wiser to get admitted to U of T or York and then take advantage of a "study abroad" programme there which would let you do a year of your education in Egypt.
