More Equality Better afterlife Variety in climate More entertainment (beer was the basic drink of choice, music was everywhere, variety of literary forms) Kinder legal system Less sexual hangups

Egyptian society seems more cheerful than Babylonian society. They seem to have had a more optimistic outlook on life. Their religion is more attractive, they had a more positive attitude towards their deities, and their afterlife. Living by the Nile would be pleasanter than living in the Mesopotamian desert. Food and water both more abundant. Women seem to have had more rights in ancient Egypt than in Babylon, so it would be better to be an Egyptian woman. Egyptian art and architecture is more beautiful than Babylonian art, and more attractive to live amongst.
