im thinking of moving to Egypt and becoming a citizen

You should be able to. That depends on the government of Egypt's immigration laws.

You can only become a citizen if you either; Marry an Egyptian, and remain married for 7 years. Or If you are working there, under permit, for 10 years. Even then, it will depend on the authorities just exactly how long, or whether your case is valid.
