My question is about the gypsies , emigrated from India to Egypt then 700 yrs ago. I have a bronse tatue of such a woman dressed in egyptian costume.

they were Moslem like all the Egyptian population . the were ghagar , ie , partly isolate themselves . but they come over to the edges of cities to sell goat milk , read the future , etc they were dressed as beduins . only the females came over to the edges of cities with a flock of goats .
